Custom Pool with Sunken Seating & Signature Waterfall
Designed for Luxury Outdoor Living
Located in Parkland Bay, this custom pool project combines luxury design and outdoor living.
The centerpiece is a 17 x 48 custom swimming pool. The pool holds approximately 21,680 gallons.
We designed the pool with a flush-brimming edge spa and a 12-foot sun shelf. The design also includes a unique sunken conversation pit with a fire feature.
The pool creates several spaces for swimming, relaxing, and entertaining.
We finished the pool interior with Bone Gem. We paired it with Bahia Sapphire mixed glass tile for a rich blue appearance.
The White Seashell pool deck creates a bright contrast with the water and surrounding architecture.
The sunken conversation pit sits directly beside the pool. Built-in seating surrounds the fire feature and creates an intimate gathering space.
We incorporated step lighting and drainage into the conversation pit design. The construction plans also show LED accent lighting at the steps and integrated drainage details.
We extended the backyard living space with a custom outdoor kitchen. The kitchen provides a convenient area for cooking and entertaining beside the pool.
Every element works together to create a cohesive luxury backyard. The result is a custom outdoor environment designed for both relaxation and entertaining.
The Sunken Conversation Pit
Designed below the pool deck level, the sunken conversation pit creates a unique destination within the backyard.
Built directly beside the swimming pool, the seating area brings family and guests closer to the water while providing a dedicated space for conversation and entertaining around the fire feature.
Integrated steps, LED accent lighting, built-in seating, and the surrounding pool architecture create a dramatic transition from the deck into the sunken lounge.
Signature Water Feature & Flush-Brimming Spa
The spa was designed with a flush-brimming edge, allowing water to flow dramatically toward the pool and creating movement across the pool’s architectural wall.
Combined with the glass tile finish and carefully integrated lighting, the water feature becomes a focal point of the backyard both during the day and after sunset.
Complete Outdoor Entertaining Space
The pool area extends beyond swimming and relaxation with a custom outdoor kitchen designed for entertaining. The built-in cooking area provides a practical connection between the pool, outdoor seating, and the home, allowing the backyard to function as a complete outdoor living space.
